There are some simple steps to follow to keep your premium Osme candle in tip-top condition:
Do not burn candles for more than 4 hours and never leave a burning candle unattended
To ensure you get the optimum burn always allow the total surface of the candle to become molten as this ensures an even burn and avoids tunnelling
Avoid putting your candles in draughty areas as this can lead to uneven burning
Keep your candles away from hanging fabrics, like curtains, and make sure nothing overhangs or can be moved above the flame
To prevent soot build-up don't put the candle less than 5 centimetres or 2 inches from walls, mirrors, etc. - our candles burn with little soot creation, but they're not completely soot free
Always keep candles out of reach from children and animals
Try to keep the wax pool free from match ends, etc., as these can burn spoiling the scent of your candle and look unattractive
Allow your candle to solidify before re-lighting and protect the surface on which the candle rests
Protect the candle container by avoiding burning right to the bottom
Cleaning the glassware after the candle is finished, to re-use it as a drinks tumbler, is really quite simple:
Removing excess by leaving the container in a freezer overnight to allow the wax to shrink
Wash the glassware with warm/hot water to remove any remaining wax and polish it with a clean soft cloth
